Meet Alicia McDowell

Originally from San Diego County, California, Alicia has called Louisiana home for over 15 years. She is a graduate of the Southern University Law Center where she was involved in the Elder & Successions Law Clinic, Women in Law Organization, National Black Law Students Association, and Phi Alpha Delta. Her main practice areas are Personal Injury, Successions, Family Law, and Business Law.
When she is not practicing law, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has aspirations of bringing more youth activities to St. John the Baptist Parish. Alicia holds the Boys & Girls Club near and dear to her heart and through her own experiences is an advocate of mentoring youth. During the aftermath of Hurricane Ida she assisted in several community events in St. John the Baptist Parish, St. Charles Parish, and St. James Parish. It was a rewarding experience for her and she looks forward to continuing to fill the needs of her community in and out of court.
