Aspen Steib Murphy

Biography

Aspen Steib Murphy received her Juris Doctor with Social Justice Certificate from Loyola University College of Law where she graduated cum laude. She also received the following honors: Ignatian Law Scholar, Louisiana State Bar Association Children’s Law Award, Clinical Legal Education Association Student Team Award and the Law Clinic Highest Grade Award. She was also inducted into the Order of the Barristers and received the Family Law Clinic’s Advocacy Award. Aspen was also a term law clerk at the United States District Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Aspen received her undergraduate degree in Broadcast Journalism from THE Howard University in Washington, DC. She was a magna cum laude graduate with Annenberg honors. Aspen has worked for major news networks and Fortune 500 companies. She is also a graduate of the Nancy Marsiglia Institute for Justice, Leadership River Region, and the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute where she was honored with their Emerging Leader Award. Aspen is also the youngest person to ever serve as Board Chair of the Chamber of Commerce.

Aspen focuses her practice on Business Law, Criminal Defense, Environmental Law, Estate Planning, Labor and Employment Law, Medical Malpractice, and Personal Injury. She is admitted to practice law in all state and federal courts in Louisiana.
