Meet Caroline Russ Minor

Biography

Caroline Russ Minor is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She graduated from Southern University School of Nursing in Baton Rouge where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In 2005 she became licensed to practice law. Caroline was a mediator and Statewide Mediator with Louisiana Workforce Commission (LWC) Workers’ Compensation Hearings Division for over 12 years where she mediated over 4000 Workers’ Compensation cases. She previously worked as a Title Attorney with Team Title during the Road Home Program aiding homeowners of Hurricane Katrina in receiving funds for damaged homes. She has earned certificates in Civil, Family, and Police-Resident mediation along with a digital badge in Workers’ Compensation Mediation from Mediators’ College. Her main practice areas are Workers’ Compensation, Family Law, Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, and
Successions.

Prior to a second career as an attorney, Caroline was a Neurointensive Care Nurse at the now defunct Charity Hospital in New Orleans and subsequently a Surgical Intensive Care Nurse at the New Orleans VA Medical Center. She looks forward to using her diverse set of skills to work with   the residents of Louisiana in resolving their issues.
